On 13 May 2023, I was on an underground train, on the way to a session for a gardening course I am currently completing. I sat next to someone and I cannot remember how I ended up reading something he had written in a notepad “LEARN TO LIVE WITH THE THINGS YOU LOVE IN REPLACEMENT FOR THE..”
I worked up small courage to let him know that I really liked what he wrote, and we started a conversation. I remember asking him how he wanted to end the phrase and the short conclusion was that there is no end to the phrase. You add your own personal end to the phrase.
The phrase LEARN TO LIVE WITH THE THINGS YOU LOVE IN REPLACEMENT FOR THE.. essentially means be grateful for what you have.
He told me about speed writing your thoughts the moment you wake up for thirty minutes, how it can get you to gradually write down your subconscious thoughts (I hope I am remembering this right). So, I did a tiny bit of research today, I saw three website pages that match what Haze spoke of (The website links are below).
With the tiny research, I was introduced to a daily practice called morning pages, which is what Haze described to me.
The website juliacameronlive.com stated that “Morning Pages are three pages of longhand, stream of consciousness writing, done first thing in the morning. *There is no wrong way to do Morning Pages*– they are not high art. They are not even “writing.” They are about anything and everything that crosses your mind– and they are for your eyes only. Morning Pages provoke, clarify, comfort, cajole, prioritize and synchronize the day at hand. Do not over-think Morning Pages: just put three pages of anything on the page…and then do three more pages tomorrow”.
I encourage just one person that reads this to do a quick search on morning pages, or watch a video. Does it reach out to you, are you interested in any way, you never know you might be inspired.

and no, I have not at this time read everything on the pages but I can briefly gauge that The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron is a book, I should seek and read.
Big Thanks to Haze for sharing this phrase, for letting me take a picture and share it on my blog. Thank you for sharing you time with me and please if you see it let me know what you think, if I made any mistakes or if you want to share anything let me know.
Stay blessed Igho
